John D'Amico - Senior Managing Director; General Counsel

John D'Amico is a Senior Managing Director in Centerline (“Centerline”) Capital Group, a subsidiary of Centerline Holding Company, and serves as Centerline’s General Counsel. Mr. D’Amico joined Centerline in 2006 when Centerline acquired ARCap, a full-service real estate finance company. Before ARCap, he spent 26 years as an associate and principal with the law firm Reidand Riege, P.C. He has served as counsel to investors, developers, financial institutions, underwriters and issuers and been involved with the restructuring and workout
of investments for all commercial property types. Mr. D’Amico also holds an Of Counsel position with the law firm Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. He has served as an Adjunct Professor in Real Estate Taxation at the University of Hartford, Barney School. Mr. D’Amico earned the Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut, the Bachelor of Science from Tufts University, and the LLM Taxation designation from New York University. Mr. D’Amico has been ranked as one of the Best Lawyers in America since 2001 and currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association.
